It is a common trend in Tollywood to repeat the successful combinations of hero and heroines. One such successful combination recently is that of Nikhil and Swathi whose last film “Swamy Ra Ra” has become a phenomenal hit. Now this successful duo has started their shoot for a new film titled “Karthikeya” which is being directed by a debutant Chandu Mondeti.This movie is made under Magnus Cine Prime productions and is produced by Venkat Sreenivas Boggaram.This is expected to be a thriller comedy film. Speaking on the occasion the director has given a brief hint of the story saying “Hero and Heroine will be seen as medical students in the film. There is no question in this world which doesn’t have an answer. The hero in the movie strongly believes that if at all there is any question that can’t be answered the mistake lies within the human effort to find an answer but not in the question. In this journey he gets in to several interesting situations and all that is captured effectively in the film”. Already two schedules of the movie are completed in which picturisation of two songs also took place.

Music of the film is done by Sekhar Chandra and Karthik Ghattamaneni is handling the camera. The makers of the movie are eyeing for a December release.
