Rekhachithram, the first mega-blockbuster of the Malayalam industry in 2025, collected unexpected numbers at the box office. Starring Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles, the film raked in over Rs. 50 crores globally. Sony LIV bought the post-theatrical streaming rights of this mystery thriller.
Yesterday, the OTT platform revealed a video stating that Rekhachithram will be available for streaming from March 14. However, there has been a slight change in the streaming date. Rekhachithram will now arrive on Sony LIV on March 7, a week earlier than the initially announced date.
The preponement of the digital release is undoubtedly a good news for movie buffs. Directed by Jofin T. Chacko, Rekhachithram also stars Manoj K Jayan, Siddique, Jagadish, Saikumar, Harishree Ashokan, Indrans, Nishanth Sagar, and others in crucial roles. Kavya Film Company and Ann Mega Media produced this investigative thriller. Mujeeb Majeed composed the tunes.
