With the slasher film Cult, Vishwak Sen returns to the director’s chair. The teaser, which was unveiled a few months ago, promised an extremely violent film with a massive dose of bloodshed. The film revolves around a game held at a private party, and those who lose will be mercilessly killed.
Today, the makers announced the release date as October 30 with an action promo that depicts the kind of madness the film is going to offer. Vishwak Sen is seen brutally killing villains, and he makes a good impact with his screen presence. Cult is touted to be India’s first slasher film.
Cult stars Gayatri Bharadwaj, Tarak Ponnapa, Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyengar, Karthikeya, Anirudh Bhaskar, Ezy, Yagnya Turlapati, Kabeer Bhartiya, Vishak Nair, and Chepuri Vivek in key roles. The film is produced by Tarak Cinemas and Vanmaye Creations. Ravi Basrur is composing the tunes.
