Sandalwood actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has been languishing in the Bellary prison ever since he was named as the prime accused in the brutal murder of his fan Renukaswamy’s. Darshan’s bail plea has been postponed yet again by the 57th City Civil Court in Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, the Kannada media is abuzz with reports that Darshan has been having sleepless nights in the prison. He reportedly told the jail authorities that he has been having nightmares of Renukaswamy’s face and that he is unable to sleep at night. The reports also revealed Darshan’s fellow inmates complaining to the jail authorities about Darshan crying loudly at nights.
Darshan, who has been suffering from severe back pain, has also requested the jail authorities to transfer him to Bengaluru for better treatment. Along with Darshan, his girlfriend and popular Kannada actress Pavithra Gowda, and several of Darshan’s associates have been nabbed by the Bengaluru Police and sent to jail.
