Retro is Suriya’s new film that hit the screens on May 1, 2025, along with Nani’s HIT 3. But sadly, due to bad word of mouth, the film has fallen flat at the box office.
As per the latest update, Retro has only made a ₹3.7 crore share in its first four days of release. These are dismal collections considering Suriya’s craze in Telugu states.
Karthik Subbaraj directed the film on a massive scale, but the dull narration did not meet expectations. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in this film, which has also flopped in Tamil.
