Love Insurance Kompany, starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Kriti Shetty, may have underperformed theatrically, but the film has returned to the spotlight after director Vignesh Shivan made an interesting revelation.
Speaking at the Chennai event for Yash-starrer Toxic, Vignesh revealed that he had approached Kiara Advani with the story of Love Insurance Kompany before Kabir Singh happened. He also jokingly remarked that Kiara was “lucky” not to have done the film, referring to its eventual box-office performance.
That means Kiara was considered for the female lead before Kriti Shetty came on board. Vignesh’s light-hearted comment has now added an interesting twist to the film’s casting history.
Kiara is currently gearing up for the release of Toxic, which stars Yash in the lead and is set to arrive in cinemas tomorrow. With the film carrying significant expectations, all eyes are now on how it connects with audiences.
