Filmmaker RGV has introduced scores of newcomers over the years, and many of them have gone on to become successful actors, directors, and technicians. Now, the maverick director is all set to give a big boost to aspiring filmmakers through Spark OTT, in which he’s one of the partners.
The new OTT platform had invited submissions from short filmmakers, and going by RGV’s confession, the response has been massive so far. The OTT reportedly received over 9000 short film entries, and the team is now shortlisting the top 10 short films, which will be premiered on the OTT.
With RGV backing this move by Spark OTT, it wouldn’t be surprising if some of these short filmmakers catch the attention of producers and directors in Telugu film industry. Let’s wait and watch how many of these short films impress the viewers.
