RGV’s bold wish to Thalapathy Vijay goes viral; shares throwback pic featuring Karunanidhi

After scripting a sensational victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026, Thalapathy Vijay is receiving wishes from across the country. Vijay’s TVK has emerged as the single-largest party by winning 108 out of 234 seats.

Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma wished Vijay in his trademark style by sharing a throwback picture where then CM Karunanidhi can be seen at a launch ceremony, while young Vijay was in the background. RGV wrote, “Kalaignar wouldn’t have dreamed that the kid behind him would one day destroy his party (DMK).”

RGV’s tweet is going viral, garnering huge traction across social media. Known for his no-holds-barred opinions, the director once again made headlines with his remark. Following the victory, Vijay met his party MLAs today to discuss the next course of action.
