In 2022, Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh embarked on his directorial journey with the Marathi film Ved, a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Majili. Now, he’s ready to wield the directorial baton once more.
On the auspicious Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj Jayanthi, the multi-talented actor-director announced his second directorial venture, Raja Shivaji. In addition to directing, Deshmukh will also grace the screen in this historical action drama, slated for release in Marathi and Hindi in 2025.
This grand undertaking is a partnership between esteemed production houses Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company. Renowned cinematographer Santosh Sivan will capture the visuals, while musical duo Ajay-Atul will orchestrate the score. Stay tuned for further developments.
