In what may come across as a shocking news, Ray Stevenson, the Irish actor who played the villainous Governor Scott Buxon in Rajamouli’s RRR, has passed away. Stevenson aka George Raymond Stevenson was just 58 years old. The cause of his sudden death is currently undisclosed.
Stevenson was popular for his roles in Punisher: War Zone, The Theory of Flight and the HBO and BBC’s acclaimed television series, Rome. He was also known for popular shows such as Dexter, The Walking Dead, Black Sails, Vikings and several Star Wars animated shows. Stevenson will next be seen in th Disney+ Star Wars series Ahsoka, which will be premiered very soon. Stevenson’s last finished film was Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday.
