Only a few hours remain for Nani’s much-awaited The Paradise to hit the big screens with paid premieres, and the film is already creating a storm with its advance bookings. The Nani and Srikanth Odela reunion has generated huge anticipation, and the numbers are reflecting the buzz ahead of release.
The film has clocked Rs. 22.69 crore gross in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with Rs. 8.64 crore from AP and Rs. 14.05 crore from Telangana. Nizam is leading the charge with Rs. 14.05 crore, while Hyderabad alone has contributed a staggering Rs. 11.40 crore in advance sales.
The territory-wise figures include Rs. 1.49 crore from Ceded, Rs. 2.35 crore from Vizag, Rs. 1.28 crore from East, Rs. 1.19 crore from Guntur, Rs. 1.09 crore from Krishna, Rs. 69.98 lakh from West and Rs. 55.42 lakh from Nellore.
The craze is not limited to the Telugu states either. The Paradise has crossed Rs. 44.09 crore in worldwide advance sales, including Rs. 29.17 crore from India and Rs. 14.92 crore from overseas.
With the advance tally already inching towards the Rs. 50 crore mark, the film is heading into its premiere night with tremendous momentum. The big numbers are already on the board; now, the premiere response and word of mouth will determine how strongly The Paradise converts this pre-release frenzy into its opening-day collections.
