Shaakuntalam, director Gunashekar’s much-awaited mythological epic featuring Samantha in the titular role, is all set for a grand worldwide release in a few hours. The film has been getting a good response from the special premieres.
On the eve of Shaakuntalam’s release, one of the film’s producers, Dil Raju, arranged a special premiere show for prominent RSS leaders from across the country. All India RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, Prakash Lodha and other RSS leaders from across the states appreciated Shaakuntalam’s team for bringing the greatest story of love from the epic Mahabharatha in the form of Shaakuntalam.
Also starring Mollywood hero Dev Mohan as King Dushyant, Shaakuntalam has been produced by Gunashekar’s daughter Neelima Guna. The film has its soundtrack composed by Mani Sharma
