Rukmini Vasanth, last appeared in Yash’s much-anticipated Toxic, has officially announced her next venture, Mangala Gowri, on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi. Backed by KVN Productions, the film marks her second collaboration with the prestigious banner.
The announcement also came with an intriguing first-look poster, showcasing Rukmini in a sharp police constable avatar, a first in her career. The film features veteran actress Malashree as the co-lead, bringing two dynamic performers together for a woman-centric narrative.
Directed by Rahul PK and written by Pooja Sudhir, the film also features Rakesh Maiya, Jayalakshmi Patil and Rekha Kudligi in key roles. On the technical front, Sapta Saagaradaache Ello director Hemanth M. Rao is presenting and co-producing the film under his Dakshayini Talkies banner, marking another collaboration with Rukmini.
Renowned composer Midhun Mukundan is scoring the music. Set against an intriguing backdrop, the fresh pairing of Rukmini and Malashree, along with Rukmini’s cop avatar, has already grabbed attention. The shooting and other details will be announced soon.
