The Information and Broadcasting Ministry of India has announced that the 54th International Film Festival of India will take place from November 20-28, 2023, in Goa, India.
The jury has announced 25 feature and 20 non-feature films for this event. Unfortunately, no Telugu movie has been selected to be screened at this event. Last year, films like RRR, Major, Akhanda, Cinema Bandi, and Kudhiram Bose were screened at the event.
Many people from the Telugu-speaking community expressed their disappointment through social media platforms. Movies like Ponniyin Selvan-2, The Kerala Story, The Vaccine War, Kantara, Iratta, and Kaadhal Enbathu Pothu Udamai have been selected to be screened at the 54th IFFI. Stay tuned for more updates.
