The latest update is that his new film will go on floors in the month of July this year. The period drama is being produced by Niranjan Reddy, the producer of HanuMan.
A new director, Rakesh, is directing this, which will be set in the 1940s and will be made on a decent budget. Tej needs a smash hit to consolidate his position in the industry and we need to see if that happens with this film or not.
