Salaar, starring Prabhas, is registering fantastic advances in overseas. The movie, directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel, is an out-and-out mass entertainer. Recently, the movie completed its censor formalities and was awarded an A certificate. After Mirchi, this is the second film of Prabhas to get an A certificate.
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood media, Vijay Kiragandur admitted that they decided to release the film on December 22 due to astrological reasons. Vijay Kiragandur said that they do believe in certain aspects. He said, “That’s the reason we didn’t prepone the film despite knowing that Dunki and Aquaman are releasing a day earlier.”
Vijay Kiragandur further said, “There were lots of works pending due to which we couldn’t make it for September 28. We then looked at various dates till May 2024, but we felt December 22 was the best date. Also, it is the time more people will flock to theatres as it is the Christmas and New Year season.”
