Prashanth Neel, renowned for his monumental successes with the KGF franchise and Salaar, has undoubtedly elevated Kannada cinema onto the global stage. With just his last three movies, he has soared to become the most sought-after director in the country.
On the 10th anniversary of his debut film Ugramm, he recently participated in a show where he reminisced about the movie and shared insights into his favorites.
When asked about his favorite director, Prashanth Neel unequivocally stated, “My all-time favorite director is Upendra. I’m not saying this because it’s a Kannada show. His films, Shhh!, Tharle Nan Maga, and Om, span three different genres, and it’s not easy for a director to handle such diversity, but Upendra accomplished it.”
