It’s a huge day for all the fans of pan-India star Prabhas. The highly-anticipated theatrical trailer for Prabhas’ soon-to-release action drama, Salaar, was launched just a while ago and it has left the actor’s fans spellbound. The film is directed by the KGF franchise helmer, Prashanth Neel.

In a latest interview ahead of Salaar trailer launch, Prashanth Neel revealed several interesting tidbits about the movie. And one of the most exciting revelation of them all was the birth of Salaar. Prashanth Neel revealed that he first got the idea of making Salaar almost 15 years ago. “After making my first film, Ugram, I got busy with KGF, which took me almost 8 years to make,” Prashanth revealed, also adding that he started planning Salaar during the making of KGF Chapter 2.

Salaar – Ceasefire is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on December 22, as a Christmas treat. Also starring Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jagapathi Babu in important roles, this high budget action drama is produced by Vijay Kirgandur on Hombale Films banner. Ravi Basrur is the film’s music composer.
