Salman Khan’s upcoming war drama Maatrubhumi should have hit the big screens by now, but it got postponed indefinitely, disappointing fans. The title of the film was recently changed from Battle of Galwan to Maatrubhumi, reportedly due to India’s relations with China improving.

According to a report in NDTV, the movie is currently under process at the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). With the clearance still pending, the movie might not make it to its planned August release, says the report. Well, this surely isn’t the update that fans would have wanted.

Salman Khan portrays Colonel Santosh Babu, the commanding officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment, who led Indian troops during the confrontation while enforcing a disengagement agreement at the border. Chitrangada Singh plays the female lead.
