Superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming film Sikandar was expected to create massive hype, but surprisingly, there seems to be little buzz around it.
Despite having a star-studded cast and being directed by acclaimed filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss, the film has yet to generate the excitement usually associated with Salman’s projects and being an Eid release.
One reason could be the lack of promotional activity so far. Unlike his previous films, Sikandar has not had any major events that could spark audience interest. Rashmika plays the female lead.
There is no denying the fact that Salman has lost his sheen with young stars making big strides in the industry. Whether Sikandar can pick up momentum closer to its release remains to be seen.
