Star heroine Samantha and Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan acted in a web series that is part of the Citadel Universe. Citadel is actually an American web series, and the first season featured Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden in the lead roles. Famous director duo Raj and DK helmed the Indian series, which will arrive on Prime Video soon.

Prime Video is currently conducting a grand event in Mumbai, where they are announcing their 2024 content slate. During this mega-event, it was revealed that Samantha and Varun Dhawan’s show is titled Citadel: Honey Bunny. Raj & DK and Sita Menon penned the script. The makers promised that the series will have a riveting narrative that fuses the pulse-pounding elements of a gritty spy action thriller with the heartwarming allure of a love story.

The web series also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher in key roles. Apart from direction, Raj & DK also produced the show under the banner of D2R Films.
