For the last couple of years, Samantha has been eagerly awaiting to act in experimental films and characters with substance, but her thirst for being part of path breaking cinema has not quenched yet. But if the ongoing reports are to be believed, Samantha is keen on remaking U Turn, an experimental Kannada flick.
U Turn is directed by Pawan Kumar of the much appreciated film, Lucia. Apparently, Samantha was highly impressed with U Turn’s trailer and she has shown interest to do the remake of the film in Tamil and Telugu.
U Turn’s director Pawan Kumar too confirmed that Samantha did get in touch with him after seeing the film’s trailer and that talks are in an early stage. Meanwhile, Samantha’s next film, A..Aa, will release in May.
