We had earlier reported that Samantha is all set to make her digital debut with Amazon Prime’s original show, Family Man Season 2. Created by Raj & DK, the show has Manoj Bajpayee playing the lead role, and Priyamani too is part of the cast. As per the reports online, Samantha will be seen in a hard-hitting role and the actress is thrilled about what Raj & DK have offered her.
While the show will go on air later this year, Samantha got quite emotional on the last day of her shoot. She took to her official page on Instagram saying, “Everyday on the sets of Season 2 of Family Man has been unforgettable. To be given the opportunity and the trust to play a role so completely different from anything I have done..thank you Raj & DK.” The actress is said to have performed her own stunts in this season which has been shot in Chennai, Mumbai, and other areas.
With Samantha’s much awaited digital debut happening later this year, it remains to be seen if she chooses to do another web series soon. Meanwhile, all eyes are on her upcoming film, Jaanu which will release on February 14.
