Samantha’s Oh! Baby was not just one of the best films of the actress’s career, but also it went on to become a critical and commercial success last year. In fact, the actress was praised so much that more offers came her way, even though she had dropped hints that she is planning to focus on her family more after that.
Now, a year later, things have changed quite a lot due to Coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown which led to theatres shutting down and the film industry coming to a standstill. However, that didn’t deter Samantha’s fans from celebrating Oh! Baby’s first anniversary on social media. The actress was so overwhelmed with the admiration from her fans that she thanked everyone for supporting her.
Taking to her Instagram profile, Samantha said, “Today last year I was a nervous mess … so I am going to be enjoying today like I should have July 5th 2019… sorry @nandureddyy that I kept sending you all the negative things people were saying about the movie. I am crazy like that .. I am glad you unfriended me that day .. and friended me back again the next day… #ohbaby is all heart and is the most proud I will be of a film .. Thankyou @nandureddyy @sureshproductions @gurufilms1 @rip_aparte @actorshaurya @peoplemediafactory. Thankyou for making this film happen.” (sic)”
