In an unexpected move, actress Samantha has removed ‘Akkineni’ from her social media accounts Twitter and Instagram. On both the popular social media platforms, Samantha has renamed her profile name from Samantha Akkineni to ‘S’.
Samantha fell in love with the Akkineni hero Naga Chaitanya and tied the knot with him in 2017 in Goa. Since then, she proudly addressed herself as Samantha Akkineni on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Interestingly, Sam’s Facebook page continues to display her name as Samantha Akkineni. Well, whether this name change is some publicity gimmick or just a momentary thing will be known if and when Samantha decides to clarify it.
Samantha is currently working on the pan-India mythological magnum opus, Shaakuntalam, and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, a Tamil multi-starrer featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara.
