The much-talked-about sequel Kantara Chapter 1 went on to collect over Rs. 850 crore gross at the global box office. Rishab Shetty acted in and directed the blockbuster, which has now returned to the spotlight.

The film has locked its world television premiere in Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi. Interestingly, the Telugu version will be telecast at 6 PM on Z Telugu, while the Kannada and Hindi versions will air at 7 PM on the same day on Z Kannada and Z Cinema, respectively. The response to the multi-language television premiere is awaited.

Rukmini Vasanth played a negative character in the film, which was produced by Hombale Films. Gulshan Devaiah, Jayaram, Pramodh Shetty, and others appeared in supporting roles in this Ajaneesh Loknath musical.
