It’s been earlier reported that a biopic on former world number one Hyderabadi tennis champ Sania Mirza has been in pipeline for the last one year. Noted Bollywood production house, Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Films, has bagged the exclusive rights to bring Sania Mirza’s inspiring life onto the screen.
Ever since the project was announced, there have been several speculations about the name of the actress who will essay Sania’s role. In a latest interview, Sania revealed that she wants either Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan or Anushka Sharma to reprise her in her biopic. Sania went on to reveal that she was offered to play herself on the big screen, but she politely declined the offer and told the makers that she is not “talented enough” to make her acting debut.
