The movie, directed by Anil Ravipudi, is now the highest regional grosser from Tollywood, surpassing Ala Vaikunthapurramulo. This crime thriller laced with family drama features Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads.
Interestingly, the OTT premiere (ZEE5) and the world television premiere (Zee Telugu) of this fun entertainer are scheduled at 6 PM tomorrow. The simultaneous digital and TV release brings up a key discussion point. Sankranthiki Vasthunam has every chance to set new records in digital views and TRP, but with both premieres happening at the same time, it remains to be seen whether the views will get split.
