Actor Priyadarshi is eagerly waiting for the arrival of Sarangapani Jathakam. Also starring young actress Roopa in a lead role, the Indraganti Mohana Krishna directorial is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad and is gearing up for its theatrical release on April 25. Priyadarshi interacted with the media earlier today and talked at length about the movie.
Priyadarshi, who plays the role of a man who believes in horoscopes, said that Sarangapani Jathakam doesn’t preach to the audience either to believe or not in horoscopes. “The film unfolds the consequences of people rubbing off their beliefs on others. Sarangapani Jathakam has an emotional story of a common man, like my previous movies, Court and Mallesham,” said Priyadarshi.
Elaborating further, Priyadarshi said that he learned the Andhra dialect for Sarangapani Jathakam. “My director, Indraganti sir, created a special track and characterization for me. I simply followed his instructions on set,” he added.
The actor went on to say that today’s audiences are clear about the kind of content they want to watch. “Audiences are coming to theaters only if the content is good. They believe that the movies I am part of have good content. Indraganti sir has penned a fabulous script. I feel fortunate to have worked with one of my favorite directors. Working with Sivalenka Krishna Prasad sir, who produced the iconic Aditya 369, is like a dream come true for me. He has planned special promotions and premieres for Sarangapani Jathakam. We are confident that the movie will entertain the audience,” he concluded.
