And finally, Mahesh Babu’s Sankranthi blockbuster, Sarileru Neekevvaru, has entered the $2 million club in the US. The film collected $92,320 from 131 locations until 10:15 pm EST on Saturday, taking its overall US gross to $2,004,007.
With Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh Babu has scored his third $2 million film in the US, after Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu. Also, Sarileru marks the second straight $2M film for Anil Ravipudi after F2 and Rashmika’s second $2M film after Geetha Govindam.
Sarileru’s US collections have slowed down on the weekdays, and whether the film will manage to surpass the $2.5M mark by the end of its full run remains to be seen.
