Suriya and Jithu Madhavan’s crime-comedy thriller Scene is set to arrive in cinemas on November 6. It stars Naslen as the antagonist. The film will have a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu.
Trade reports suggest that Scene will have a limited release in Telugu states compared to Suriya’s previous films. Ramayana will have the biggest release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as the distributor has spent big bucks on the theatrical rights. On the other hand, Aadarsha Kutumbam will reportedly retain a significant number of screens during the festival season, leaving fewer theatres for the Suriya starrer.
Scene has been sold for Rs. 15 crores in Telugu states, and it should collect somewhere around Rs. 30 crores gross to be in the safe zone. Let’s see how things go. Nazriya plays the female lead.
