Pan-India stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s ongoing sci-fi thriller, Project K, is already one of the most eagerly awaited movies of 2024. Being made on a budget of over Rs 500 crore, the film is slated for a massive pan-international release on January 12 as a Sankranthi festive treat next year.

And here’s a sensational buzz that’s got all the fans excited. If the latest reports are anything to go by, legendary actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan is said to be in talks with Project K makers. Apparently, the makers recently approached Kamal and requested him to play the main antagonist in the movie. The talks are still in the initial stage and some clarity will emerge in the coming days. The buzz also has it that Project K makers are willing to pay a staggering remuneration to get just 20 days out of Kamal’s callsheets.

If Kamal decides to accept the offer eventually, there’s no exaggeration in saying that Project K will be a hot cake among trade circles across the world. The film also stars legendary Hindi film star Amitabh Bachchan in a key role. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is being produced by veteran filmmaker Ashwini Dutt. Santosh Narayanan is composing the music.
