Acclaimed Sandalwood actor-director Raj B. Shetty’s recently released rural horror comedy, Su From So, has emerged as the seventh hundred crore grosser of the Kannada film industry. Made with a modest budget of Rs 4.50 crore, Su From So has entered the rare Rs 100 crore club on its 23rd day.
Su From So is next only to all time highest grossing Kannada movies, including KGF Chapter 2 (Rs 1,250 Cr), (Kantara Rs 450 Cr), KGF (Rs 260 Cr), James (Rs 113 Cr), Charlie777 (Rs 103 Cr), and Vikrant Rona (Rs 100.5 Cr).
Su From So features Raj B Shetty, Shaneel Gautham, and JP. Thuminad in prominent roles and marks the directorial debut of JP Thuminad. The film continues its strong hold despite the tough competition from Hrithik-NTR’s War 2, Kamal Haasan’s, and Mahavatar Narasimha.
