Telugu actor Ashwin Babu and Nandita Swetha starred in the movie Hidimbha, which received mixed responses upon its release in theaters. However, the scenario took a turn when the movie debuted on the OTT platform Aha. Directed by Aneel Kanneganti, this gritty action thriller garnered a positive and solid response from audiences in the OTT space.
In the most recent update, Aha disclosed that viewers on the OTT platform have collectively spent over 150 million minutes streaming this movie, a remarkable achievement. The Tamil dubbed version of the movie has also received positive feedback on the platform.
Gangapatnam Sridhar produced the film under Sri Vignesh Karthik Cinemas (SVK Cinemas) in association with OAK Entertainments. Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments presented the film. The music for Hidimbha was composed by Vikas Badisa.
