Dunki is Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release that has been directed by Raj Kumar Hirani. The film is inching the 200 crore net in India. When compared to SRK’s previous releases, Pathaan and Jawan, the film is way behind in terms of collections.
When asked about the same, director Raj Kumar Hirani says “Right from the beginning, Shah has been telling me not to compare the business of Dunki with Pathaan and Jawaan. He used to tell, me Dunki is a social drama and will not make big money at the box office”.
Hirani further adds “SRK was right and the film is doing exactly how much he predicted. I can say that SRK knows better box office business than many producers and directors”. When compared to other Raj Kumar Hirani films, Dunki is way less in terms of emotions, box office, and applause. Taapsee played the female lead in this film.
