Following the success of the Odela franchise, Sampath Nandi Team Works is backing another village-rooted story titled Shanarthi – A Tale of Culture. The film was officially announced today, along with its title and first look.
Akhil Raj Uddemari, who recently tasted success with Raju Weds Rambai, will headline the project, while the film marks Naga Durga’s second outing as a heroine in Telugu cinema.
Directed by Uppunooti Raj Ganesh and produced by KV Sridhar Reddy, Shanarthi is said to be deeply rooted in village culture. The makers are confident that the story and its cultural backdrop will connect with audiences.
Suresh Bobbili is composing the music for the film. More details about the cast, crew and story are expected to be announced in the coming days.
