Now that his most eagerly awaited sci-fi thriller 2.0 is gearing up for release on November 29, maverick director Shankar will commence shooting for yet another ambitious film, Bharatheeyudu 2, from December. Stalwart actor Kamal Haasan will reprise his old freedom fighter’s role from the 1996 blockbuster, Bharatheeyudu.
According to the latest reports, Shankar has hired Hollywood makeup artists to design prosthetic makeup for Kamal Haasan’s old man’s avatar. Already a sample look test was completed in Chennai recently. Working with Hollywood technicians has been a common practice for Shankar ever since the early days of his career.
Kajal Aggarwal is said to be the leading lady in Bharatheeyudu 2. Dulquer Salmaan will also play a crucial role in the movie. Lyca Productions will bankroll this massive project.
