It’s a black day in the history of the Bollywood film industry. Renowned filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar (67) passed away today in Mumbai. According to the reports, he was taken to a private hospital when his body experienced a drop in potassium level.
Well known as Dada, Pradeep Sarkar made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed film Parineetha that also won several awards. His other notable films as director are Lafangey Parindey, and Mardaani. His last directorial is Kajol-starrer Helicopter Eela. For the unversed he also worked in the editing department for Munna Bhai MBBS. He is also a writer and producer for several movies.
His sudden demise has left the industry in shock. Many celebrities including Ajay Devgn, Hansal Mehta, Kunal Kohli, Abhishek Bachchan, and Raj & DK mourned the death of the noted filmmaker. We at 123telugu express our deepest condolences to the family of the late director.
