Senior editor Gautham Raju, who worked for many Tollywood star actors’ films passed away in the wee hours of Wednesday. The craftsman has been suffering from Kidney-related issues for more than a week. He was 68.
The famous editor was admitted to a private hospital for treatment last week. Unfortunately, he is no more. His mortal remains are at his residence in Mothinagar, Hyderabad. The last rites will happen this evening.
The sudden demise of Gautham Raju shook the film industry and many celebrities have mourned the death of the craftsman.
He started his career with Chattaniki Kallu Levu (1981). He worked for more than 800 films including Hindi movies as well. He received Nandi Award for his work for Jr NTR’s Aadhi. His famous works include Gabbar Singh, Thalapathy, Aadhi, Gopala Gopala, Dil, Race Gurram and others.
