After Kaikala Satyanarayana garu and Chalapathi Rao garu, Tollywood has lost another senior actor. Noted actor, director and producer Vallabhaneni Janardhan breathed his last at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad this morning due to health-related issues. He was 63.
He started his career as a producer and his first film Mamma Gari Manavalu scrapped due to the lack of support. Later he married the daughter of director Vijaya Bapineedu and upon his suggestion, he remade the Kannada film Manasa Sarovar in Telugu as Amayaka Chakravarthy and it scored a big hit. Later he produced hit movies like Srimathi Kavali and Paripoyina Kaithilu.
He turned actor with Sreemathi Kavali and later acted in many films directed by his father-in-law Vijaya Bapineedu garu. He acted in more than 100 films and shared screen space with the top actors in the industry. He is well known for his villainy role in Gang Leader (1991). He also acted in the popular serial Anvesitha.
Several Tollywood actors mourned the sudden demise of the actor and expressed their deepest condolences to his family. We at 123Telugu express our sympathies to Vallabhaneni Janardhan’s family and may his soul rest in peace.
