Sita Ramam is one of the most-talked movies in recent times. Starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur, the romantic period drama is up for a grand release in theaters worldwide on August 5, 2022.
But, the film has faced a new issue. The movie is banned in GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE). The ministry says no to the release because of the religious sensitivities in the movie. However, the team applied for a re-censor.
GCC is one of the biggest markets for Dulquer Salmaan. To recall, the same happened with DQ’s last film Kurup. We need to wait and see what happens next.
