Prabhas’ horror fantasy entertainer The Raja Saab opened to mixed reviews from critics. Directed by Maruthi, the PAN-Indian film was distributed by Anil Thadani’s AA Films in Hindi. Despite having a massive release, The Raja Saab took a shockingly low start in the Hindi belt.
According to trade reports, The Raja Saab collected just around Rs. 5.5-6 crores nett at the North Indian box office, which is highly disappointing for a Prabhas starrer. The movie had low awareness among Hindi-speaking audiences from the beginning, and on top of that, there were not many promotions.
As word of mouth was also not encouraging, The Raja Saab failed to post a respectable opening. The weekend prospects look bleak, with reports not being favorable.
