It is well-known that Universal star Kamal Haasan announced his political entry a couple of years back and launched his party Makkal Needhi Maiam. Presently, he is busy touring the state of Tamil Nadu and is expected to contest the state elections next year.
Meanwhile, in a recent media interaction, Kamal’s daughter, Sruthi Haasan opened up about his political entry and said that genuine people like his father are needed for this society.
She also added that she will help her father behind the screens but not involve in direct politics as she needs more maturity to tackle ground level situations.
