Not many are aware that Siddarth is an accomplished playback singer. Since 2006, in almost every movie of his, he has contributed to at least one song or more. In Bommarillu, he sang Appudo Ippudo. In Aata it was Ninnu Choostontae. In Oye and Baava he sang the title songs. And in his latest film Oh My Friend he has lent his voice to two numbers – “My Daddy’s pockets & Sri Chaitanya Junior College”. In the southern film industry it is hard to recollect one hero in the recent past who could sing like Sid does. Coming back to the movie “Oh My Friend” the real chartbuster though is “Aalochana Vasthanane”. The song , clips of which are available on the net, is a real hummer and beautifully picturized as well. Here is hoping that this movie ends Sid’s poor show in the box office.
