Popular actor Siddharth has explained why he has stayed away from item songs throughout his career. The actor said he has never wanted to be part of songs where a woman is surrounded by dozens of men who behave inappropriately around her.

Siddharth also clarified that he does not believe in playing only heroic characters. He is open to choosing stories where the lead character has negative qualities, provided the film does not send a wrong message.
