The success meet of Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp, held yesterday, did not end on a pleasant note. The film’s producer, Razesh Danda of Hasya Movies, lost his cool and made harsh remarks against a website. According to him, the website has been spreading negativity about the film.

His aggressive comments have now drawn strong criticism from the South India Digital Publishers Association (SIDPA), which represents major digital media organisations.

In a statement, SIDPA condemned the use of offensive language by the producer and reminded that disagreements should be expressed with respect.

“Professional differences must be expressed with dignity and respect. Having a public platform does not give anyone the right to insult, threaten, or demean others. Such behaviour is unacceptable and goes against the principles of decency and professional conduct. Issuing threats of violence or harm is also a criminal offence,” SIDPA said.

The association further stated that it will not tolerate any kind of intimidation or abuse toward journalists or media houses. SIDPA also reaffirmed its commitment to protecting press freedom and ensuring accountability.

Everyone is now waiting to see how Razesh Danda will respond to this strong statement.
