Nag Ashwin’s latest production, Sing Geetham, directed by the legendary Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, has been creating decent buzz among Telugu audiences. The film also marks the introduction of newcomers Ahilya and Ayaan to Telugu cinema.
In a recent post-release interaction with the media, Nag Ashwin revealed that the OTT version of the film will be different from the theatrical cut. Speaking about the challenges faced during the final stages of production, he mentioned that the CG work in the climax could have been better. He added that the team is planning to refine and improve those portions before the film’s digital release, emphasising that audiences may continue watching the film even a decade from now, and it should therefore stand the test of time.
As for the OTT rights, Sing Geetham has reportedly been sold to Netflix for a massive Rs. 11 crore. Since the film is currently performing promisingly at the box office, it may take some time before it arrives on the digital platform.
The film also features a special cameo appearance by Vijay Deverakonda, which has been receiving a positive response from audiences. Sing Geetham features music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
