SlumDog: Tabu Unleashes Her Fierce Avatar as Gauri Hegde

Actress Tabu was announced as part of Puri Jagannadh’s SlumDog: 33 Temple Road, headlined by Vijay Sethupathi. The film is now back in the news as the makers have unveiled a glimpse of her character.

Tabu plays Gauri Hegde, a Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, who is portrayed as a fierce, courageous and ruthless police officer. She has also dubbed her own lines in Telugu for the film.

The glimpse showcases Tabu in an action-packed avatar, offering a first look at her character and the intensity she brings to the film. It remains to be seen how well the character connects with audiences when the movie arrives in theatres.

Produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur and JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla, the film also features Samyuktha, Duniya Vijay, Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh in important roles. Harshavardhan Rameshwar is composing the music, while the release date of this multilingual film will be announced later.
