Ponniyan Selvan is a film that Mani Ratnam has pinned a lot of hopes on. The teaser of the film was released yesterday and decent reactions have come in.
Going by the trailer, the makers have spent a bomb on this film. But Telugu on social media has started to compare the film with Rajamouli’s Baahubali.
So many comments are being made about the visuals and action sequences in the Tamil drama that resemble Baahubali and other Telugu films.
The makers are planning a huge round of promotions for the film which has a plethora of stars.
Only time will tell whether Mani Ratnam will live up to the hype created. Ponniyan Selvan will be released in two parts
