Shah Rukh Khan is the country’s top star and is riding high on the success of his last few films, Jawan and Pathaan, which made big bucks at the box office. He has yet to officially announce his new film, but he has made headlines now.
Speaking at the Locarno Film Festival, Shah Rukh Khan spoke highly about Indian cinema, especially the South. SRK said that South cinema is the best when it comes to technical aspects. “I have worked with a few directors from the South, and now I am quite eager to work with more directors from the South as they always come up with something special,” said SRK.
SRK also added that South cinema has always been ahead of its time when it comes to creating big-budget films. “Some of the greatest storytelling in India comes from the South,” ended SRK.
